Meet the owners
F4 Training Center didn't start with a business plan — it started in a garage, with a passion for people and a belief that fitness could change lives. Lillie and Hayden Burns are a husband-and-wife team rooted in faith, family, and a shared love for helping others grow stronger. Lillie brings her background as a teacher and coach into every session, meeting people where they are and guiding them forward with intention. Hayden, an Army veteran, knows firsthand how fitness carries you through the hardest seasons of life. Together, as parents of two, they built F4 around the same values they live at home — because they believe the community you train with should feel like family. What started as a small idea with a big heart has grown into something that Four Oaks can call its own.
Meet the Team
Lillie Burns | Co-Founder
I’m Lillie Burns, a wife, mom, former teacher and coach, and now full-time trainer. I’m married to Hayden, and together we have two boys, Shep and Jase.
At my core, I’m passionate about serving others and helping people build strength, confidence, and endurance through sustainable fitness, nutrition, and mindset. I also deeply believe there is power in doing hard things together, which is why I love group fitness. Some of the greatest growth happens when people are surrounded by encouragement, accountability, and community, not comparison. Our goal at F4 is to create an environment where people feel challenged, supported, and empowered to become the strongest version of themselves.
My training approach is centered around hybrid functional fitness combining strength, cardio, endurance, and intentional movement to prepare people for life both inside and outside the gym. Whether someone is just beginning their journey or already has experience, my goal is to meet them where they are and help them move forward with confidence and purpose.
What drives me is transformation, helping someone go from “I can’t” to “I just did.”

Hayden Burns | Co-Founder
My name is Hayden Burns, co-founder of F4 Training Center. I am a proud husband, father and Army veteran. I became passionate about fitness in high school and that bled over to my time in the military. Fitness for me has changed over the years during the good, the bad and the unknown. Fitness can be challenging, hard and confusing but it doesn’t have to be that way. That is why we created F4.
When Lillie started teaching classes out of our garage, I knew there was a need for something like this in our community. Something that encourages people and helps them understand the “why” behind what they do. Our goal is to build individuals through strength and functionality, while also fostering a community with the same mindset.

Laura Lasater
Administrative AssistantI am Laura Lasater, and I do a lot of the “behind the scenes,” organizational type things for F4. I got connected to F4 because of my relationship with Lillie and the Burns family. Over the years, I have watched their vision, passion and dreams become their reality. I have been positively impacted by their health and fitness journey, and I only want the same for the Four Oaks community! I now prioritize my health in a new way and see taking care of my body as an act of worship to the Lord. My relationship with food and fitness has evolved during my time with F4, and I feel better and stronger than ever, not hyperfocused on a scale or my image. The community at F4 has been crucial to my well-being as we pray for each other, laugh together and show up for each other. I am changed for the better because of the Burns family and F4.
I am married to Chandler, and together we have two children, Millie and Joseph. We have built our life around our faith, seeking God’s guidance and provision in all we do. We aspire to live a healthy life for each other and for our kids. In my free time, I love to take walks with my family, bake, travel and read. I actually bake the best sour dough treats, and they keep my family and friends very happy. I am also learning to love running!
Overall, we are in a wild season of life, but I will not let my kids be my excuse. My faith and family are what keep me going, and I owe it to them to be the best version of myself.
Madi Mitchell
Hi everyone! I was recently married to my middle school sweetheart, work as a Marketing & Events Specialist at DeWayne’s, and love spending time at the lake. Fitness has become such an important part of my life and I’m passionate about helping others experience the same growth, both physically and mentally.
I’ve always been drawn to group fitness – the energy, encouragement, and sense of community are where I feel most challenged and connected. However, I’ve always wished there was something like that in my hometown! When my friends and I first discovered Lillie – when it was still a garage gym – we were instantly hooked! Working out with friends, pushing each other and praying for each other is something that has truly changed my life. Lillie has been such a blessing to me and I believe God placed her in my life at just the right time. The impact she and this community have had on me is something I am so grateful for, and I’m thankful to now coach alongside her.
I love people, I love community, and I love what fitness can do for both. For me, I like to view working out as something I get to do. And learning it’s not always about how you look, but how you feel. Prioritizing movement has had such a positive impact on my mental health, and I believe it’s one of the best ways we can take care of ourselves.
My faith is at the center of everything I do and shapes the way I live, lead, and love. I believe the ability to move our bodies is a gift and honoring them through movement is one way we can grow stronger – physically, mentally, and spiritually – every single day.

Chandler Lasater
ChaplainI'm Chandler Lasater, and I'm excited to be a part of what God is building through F4. Growing up, sports were a huge part of my life, and that love for competition and pushing my limits has carried into adulthood through running and HIIT-style workouts. There's something about hitting a new personal best or doing something you didn't think you were capable of that never gets old.
I'm married to Laura, and together we have two kids who keep us more than busy. Family is everything to me, and one of the things I love most about F4 is that family isn't just a value on the wall — it's lived out every day in this community.
As Chaplain, my role is to help cultivate the faith side of what F4 is all about. I'm passionate about the Word of God — studying it, understanding it, and growing through it. I believe Scripture has real power to change lives, and I believe Christ is actively working in and through people every single day. My hope is that through everyday conversations, shared workouts, and genuine relationships, this gym becomes a place where people not only get stronger physically, but encounter the living Savior that transforms them from the inside out.
